Behind every successful man...
"Behind every successful man there is a woman."
We've all heard this one...
But when I heard it once again the other day it finally clicked, what exactly it means for women to be behind successful men.
If you're thinking that the woman has a role behind the man's success... I'd have to say you're wrong...
Its not the success of a man she's behind but the successful man. They're always going around with successful men... "Security" is the diplomatic word. :P
I must restate the saying as... "Behind every successful man there are many women."
I guess women are always looking out for successful men. When they find a successful man... they say "behind every........" and take away all the credit. Its like saying... "I know George is a hardworking fellow but what really turned the tables for him was when he started dating Sally."
I have to say... poor George!

i don't totally agree with u...ya to some extent its true but one of the reason is "male ego" cause a man wont like to be with a woman who is higher than him in designation....so woman aren't left with much options.. so i think u need to re frame it and look other perspectives too:P:P
well i guess ur trying to turn the tables here against guys but thts totally not the point :P
personally I won't mind going around with someone of tht sort. If you know anyone do let me know :)
but the existence of this saying for such a long time makes a statement in itself :P
lemme put it this way....
Men are creature with a very fragile and pretty selfless ego...so all the success they can make or get is accredited to the woman in their life!!
now...ok..thats a joke...u can start n stop grinning!!! on a deeper thought, try putting a woman u are not romantically or sexually interested in..say ur best friend, ur mother... ur senior from school whom u idolize.... many others.... Now George would really be poor if Sally wasnt there but obviously, The men would not accept it...!! :D
